The perfect combination of seasonally adaptive cereal grains, winter peas, clover, turnip, radish and chicory, our 7 Card Stud™ mixture provides deer with a smorgasbord of high-quality forage throughout hunting season and well into the following spring. The winter oats, winter wheat and clover establish rapidly, giving your plot a quick start, while the radish, turnip and chicory deliver nutrient-rich, late-season forage that thrives throughout the winter months and on into spring. Plus, the addition of winter peas ups the annual formula’s overall protein content, making it one of the most adaptive and attractive all-encompassing blends ideal for early, mid and late-season use. Versatile enough to quickly adapt to different regions, changing weather conditions and a variety of soil types, 7 Card Stud is lush once started—covering up to ¼ acre, or 11,000 square feet of ground to attract deer early in the fall, while also ensuring they make their home there all season long. Tilling required prior to planting.

Great food plot
I planted seven card stud back towards the middle of August 2024. Within just a few weeks and a couple of rains it started to come up. Now it’s the beginning of November and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. The deer love it, and it’s holding up even under some of our driest weather. When it rains it simply looks amazing.

7 Card Stud
This is the 2nd year in a row to plant this product. If done correctly the results are amazing. 1st, it establishes fast, all components. 2nd, our on camera and in the stand deer population has increased significantly.

7 Card Stud Forage
To give you a little background, I am an Aquatic Science teacher in Texas living in Robertson County. In the process of having my classes grow from seed to full growth in both a control setting as described on the instructions and Hydroponically. Germination only took 2 days 10 hours both in the classroom in small ziplock bags with wet brown paper towel hung in the window facing southeast and 3 days out in the wild alongside a pond with adequate sunlight. So far there has been 100% germination in the classroom even with the product dating back to Oct. 2018. The pond plot also looks to have a very high germination rate!! So far the seed has proceeded nicely!! Will try to keep everyone updated.
